How do I make an animated banner?

You will need a program that can create animated GIF files - we have some listed on our Banner Utilities page. Basically, you create a series of images, and then use the software to assemble them into one GIF that can be 'played' back at a rate you choose. Can I display multiple banner ads on one page?

Yes and No. Yes, you can display multiple banner ads on one page if the other ads are from other agencies or networks. However, you cannot display two or more Free Banners Network banners on a single page.

Please note: Any pages contained within a framed page, all count as one page. So if you are using frames on your web site and "page1.html" and "page2.html" are both displayed on the screen at the same time due to the use of frames, there can be only one Free Banners banner between them. Either "page1.html" gets the banner or "page2.html" gets the banner, but not both.

Does it matter where I place the banner ad on my site?

You can place the Free Banners Network banner anywhere on your web page that is easily visible. However, please remember, ads placed at the bottom may not generate many hits (impressions) because a user can halt the display or click to another page before the ad has completed its request. If the request is not completed, you don't get credit for it.

What if my banner is too large ?

You can use GifWizard to reduce the size of your banner up to 80%. This is indeed a great tool. A smaller banner loads faster and that means more credits for you as most people click away as large images are loading too slowly! Reduce the size of your banner at http://www.gifwizard.com
